      \nNeda is one of the few rivers in Greece with a\nfemale name. The name comes from the nymph Neda, one of the three\nnymphs that took care of the newborn Zeus. Neda springs from Mount\nLykaio and on its way to the Ionian Sea, it defines the borders of\nIlia and Messinia. The landscapes we\u2019ll see are simply\nstunning. Waterfalls, natural tunnels,\ndense vegetation, all make up a beautiful scenery. At the same time\nswimming at the base of waterfalls, diving from the rocks and\nclimbing from fixed ropes make this excursion very playful and surely\nideal for hot days. Note that Neda’s water is not particularly cold,\nso staying in the water is not unpleasant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
